You are the chosen one - the only one who can survive the night from this otherworldly menace! But beware, the Mystic Mouser's tic-tac-toe skills are the cat's meow, and their victories come with a steep price... a haunted forever in their clutches! So sharpen your ghostly reflexes, exercise your supernatural claws, and get ready to confront the ultimate feline foe in a battle of wits that will leave you screaming for mercy. Will you be the one to outsmart the Mystic Mouser and shatter their hold on your mind, or will you succumb to their cunning and become just another haunted pawn in the Mystic Mouser's game of cat and mouse? - Controls will only be active on your turn

- Use WASD keys to rotate the board left, right, up, and down

- Use the arrow keys to move the selection cursor to the required space

- Use the 'Enter' key to play your move

Notes:

Most of the work in the 1 hour game jam was writing a narrative, and bolting various pre-made assets together, and imbuing Mystic Mouse with magical powers.
