The small archipelago has long been known for its close-knit communities and self-sufficiency, but that peace was shattered by an election in which President Donnington Thump emerged victorious by a landslide. Thump is an eccentric entrepreneur who fashioned his campaign posters after a larger than life figure from the mainland, claiming to model himself on this “hero.” The press calls it a harmless homage, yet in reality he has cultivated a personality cult that borders on obsession.

One reporter began asking inconvenient questions about the voter rolls, the restricted tunnels, and why turnout seemed to exceed the living population. Thump was quick to respond, branding them "a very rude reporter" and "frankly, very dishonest," before having them thrown into the dungeons. Now trapped beneath the island, you must fight your way out and expose what’s really going on.
